For many, Taylor's is the most illustrious port wine producer and drinking its wines is the most sublime of experiences.

Created more than three centuries ago, in 1692, Taylor's is one of the oldest port wine trading houses dedicated exclusively to the production of Port wine and, especially, to its best styles.

Above all, Taylor's is an independent company in which some family members play leadership roles in all areas of activity. The company's long and uninterrupted family tradition has allowed for the continuity and clarity of mission, both essential attributes of any great Port wine house. It also allowed to improve the skills and knowledge necessary to produce the best Ports, which are constantly refined in the light of the experience that is passed on from generation to generation.

Taylor's is also respected as a producer of port wines aged in wood and has one of the largest reserves of rare wines aged in cask, of which the distinguished old Tawny Port wines stand out. The house is also known as the creator of the LBV (Late Bottled Vintage), a style in which the company was a pioneer and of which it remains the main producer.

Successive generations, with their experience, have endeavored to improve their knowledge and ability to produce ever better Port wines.

Headquartered in Porto and in the Douro region, the company is involved in all phases of the production of its Port wines, from planting the vine and cultivating the grapes to the elaboration, aging and bottling of the wine lots. The family's commitment to the future of Port wine is demonstrated in its dedication to achieving the highest standards in the production of Port wine, in its sustained investment in all areas of the company's operation and, finally, in its determination to preserve the unique environment of the Douro region by promoting sustainable and responsible viticulture.
